Hi fellas, I'm new to the little Hondas(I'm a Kawasaki triple guy)and I'm building a little scooter for some fun. I put a Lifan 150 in it and I'm having trouble finding an intake manifold that fits the stock exhaust port and flares out so I can put a 26mm Mikuni on it. I've bought three now that were advertised as for 26mm carbs but they are the same on both ends, the size of the exhaust port. Can you line me out for the right intake? I also need to see how the seats and latches vary on the seats, my bike is a 1970 an the seat I got is from an earlier year so my latches won't fit. If you guys see anything I'm doing that is wrong or stupid please let me know. Here is the little beast.

I got an abused 1970 CT70 and kept the frame, seat brackets, and the rear hub. The rest is all new parts. I used a billet front end with billet fork ears and a alloy swingarm. I also polished the rear hub. The engine is a Lifan 150 and I have a 26mm Mikuni carb. I have most of the test fitting done now and it's time to sort out the wiring(I didn't get a diagram from the place I bought it from). I did find out that I won't shop with CHP anymore because they were more than happy to take $2600 from me but only had about half the parts(and didn't say so), kept my money and put me on auto-backorder or something. After two months I demanded my money back for the parts that didn't show. I think I have everything I need for it now so it shouldn't take too much longer till it's alive. Is there little single stage nitrous kit for these anywhere?

I've got a little time today and am sizing the chain. The front sprocket that came with the Lifan engine is loose even when the bolts are tight. I tried a new Sunstar sprocket and it fit's the same and so does the original Honda sprocket. What's the deal?

Mytrailbuddy.com has some good ct70 stuff. Used them for bars and have my eye on some other items as well.

Here it is, done except for the handle bar switches(been waiting a long time for them). It runs very well with the 26mm Mikuni, I wondered if it might have been too big. I took it up to 50mph and there was more left than I cared to experience with the stock CT70 handlebars. I think it turned out real well and my boss thinks it's great(and he likes the front high stance). Thinking about the next build.
