Originally this post had a deep description of a painful few months waiting on my motoped. I've since been in communication with them and received some more detail about the delays and the status of the shipment. I've been told the remaining bikes will ship in the next 2-3 days so I'll reserve the dirty details of this post to give respect for the difficulties in starting up a business from scratch and dealing with overseas suppliers.

Ill ill update on 7/9 or when I get the shipment.

Same here only I decided to hold out for the Zokes. I did receive my forks, (revalved with heavier springs). They were shipped to me from Oregon a few weeks ago. Hoping to see the rear shock at my door as well as confirmation that the rest of my kit shipped here real soon. ~BF

I'm also waiting on a full kit with Zokes. I have a tracking number from Tiawan, but no idea whats actually on the way? I also tried to switch to DNM and was told a month ago "we'll get back to you asap with cost difference". To date there has been no further communication.

I have been in the same boat as you guys for over 7 months! Bought their top of the line package. Was so close to pulling the plug you have no idea. What I thought was a US based company manufacturing these bikes in the US is in reality a manufactured product out of Taiwan that has obviously dealt with a lot of hurdles and manufacturing setbacks.

Good news is my bike arrived today (foot peg kits still on back order). Quality is good, had to powdercoat the frame again I didn't like the dull texture grey it came with. Everything seemed to go together really easy.

Overall i am satisfied with the purchase but it did take a ridiculous amount of time with no clear business management or order status. I almost felt as if they weren't even sure if I had paid or an order in the system until today when it showed up. No tracking either. Was a pleasant surprise.

I guess hang hang in there. Should be any day.

The worst part about owning a motoped (in the beginning) was that every Sheriff and highway patrol
kept pulling me over just so they could check it out and then they wanted me to hang out for a few minutes
so that they could call their other cop buddies that were on shift and in the area to come check it out too
fricking ridiculous but it's lots better now that most have seen the dam thing

I've gotten mine most of the way assembled now. I have scrapped most, if not all of the included hardware and used much higher quality nuts & bolts throughout.
We also made an even trade: marzocchis for DNM, and fat tire setup when available.

Surprised me when I saw that big 'ol DHL truck roll up to my work this (Monday) morning! Especially since I only contacted Motoped Wednesday of last week to inquire on the status of my bike. The Motoped crew was quick with an e-mail reply saying they contacted China asking that they ship me out one that same day. WoW talk about service! - ask and you shall receive ~Barnfresh

Is it all there?

Just finished opening up all the boxes, laying parts out (in the livingroom of course) and doing my best to inventory everything. Not easy without a packing list but as far as I can tell it appears to be all there. Only obvious thing missing at this point is a front fender. Rest of plastics are white with red/black Motoped graphics already affixed to the shrouds. Quality of everything I've checked out so far appears to be top notch. Wheels look great and they roll smooth and true. Guess I'll find out if the fit matches the finish once I start assembly. Now where to find that full auto shift 2 speed electric start engine. If anyone knows a source please let me know. TIA ~Barnfresh

I got mine today too. Just when I was about to throw in the towel and get a refund it shipped. It was over a week after I was told all the bikes have shipped and 3 months after I expected to get it when I purchased but, but at least it finally came.

Im I pretty impressed with the initial quality and with the exception of the missing packing slip and assembly instructions, it all looks like it was delivered by a mature company. What I mean by that is the packaging, the logos on the box, the embroidered logo seat and other details. This is a pretty good show for a fledgling company. I think if they could go back in time, they may have handled the PR side of things a little differently as it relates to dealing with communications to waiting customers, but all things considered I'm happy with the purchase and hope this thing provides many hours of entertainment.

Indeed what is is about the not getting a front fender, I thought perhaps they just screwed up and forgot to put mine into the crate and then i talked to someone else that didn't get theirs either and now Barnfresh didn't get his ???????? I wonder what the deal is with that situation .................

Unfortunately for me some big idiot left my phone in MY POCKET and ran it through a wash cycle.....And the dryer................LOL
I'll get a new one this week and post some pictures of my solution to this no front fender situation. The no kickstand situation too.
