I've ran the V2 before on my last BBR bike. it was all the power i could ask for.

Does adding the race cam make a huge difference?

I noticed the takegawa cam on my stock head gave it a lot of bottom end. Having a 26mm carb gave it top end too.

I'm wondering if adding a mod cam to a mod head has the same effect.

I'm running a TB 143, 55m stroker, with a Zongshen race head (TB V1), and 26mm carb.

I want to switch up to a 28mm carb and V2 head with V2 race cam.

I'm trying to get the most out of my 155 before i step up to a 180.

Your input is appreciated.

the v2 cam (tbolt # is 577) is the S35 for more top end and road racing, the other cam (dont know the number) is S25 for more bottom end-mid range cam. if your going to a 180 eventually i would go with the S35 type for more top end, but it rider preference. i have that came in my 184v2 so i dont need any more bottom end i have plenty lol. each cam has its improvements it just depends on were you ride most of the time power range wise.

Right on bud thanks.

Yeah the thing is from what i've heard the bigger pistons kinda fall off on the horse power after a certain rpm. The bigger pistons create a kind of like a parachute affect. Some are even going far enough as cutting the fat off of their cranks.

I'm curious if the S25 cam with a 28mm carb and inner rotor fly wheel might make more top end with the extra bottom...

Run the 35... I have both on a 184 setup and it has PLENTY bottom end either way. With the 25 it falls flat early... do yourself a favor, save the money from buying the 25 first like I did... GET THE 35. (Im a dirt guy)

Thanks bud

I'm gonna build another motor too from the ground up. I want to get every builders input before I set out to do it. No so much beast but power whether it's high or low horse power I just want it constant all the way through.

I know it's posible even if it's 4 valve. My gf doesn't like the poppy 2 stroke feel to my bike she likes smooth power and I need a good excuse to build another 110 haha
