I think the exit pipe turns into the 88-98 plastics.
I thought I read you can turn the end cap but I'm not for sure.
I wondered the same thing but when I got the mini gunz I didn't think about it.
Is the t4 a bigger n better head pipe?
I wonder if we can add a pipe to any can to turn it away from the plastics.

ALSO.... where's the cheapest place to buy one???????

I have heard the Pro is built REALLY nice but its also really loud. No idea of loud compared to the Gunz but that is the one downside I have heard about it. Also, I have seen the Pro fit under the 79-87 number plate. Not 100% on the 88-99 though.

I just spoke to nick with pro circuit and he said that you DO have to modify the rear fender for the T4 exhaust for the 90s z50r...
I just find it hard to believe that nobody but minigunz makes a exhaust that fits like it should...

Someone on here has to have the t4 on a 90s Z that can chime in

Not my bike. Just a pic I found.

If it were me, I'd just stick some self adhering heat deflector material on the inside of the plastics and hammer down. I got a free sample years ago that would have been more then enough to cover it.

I have one on my '86, and another that is going on my '88.

The end cap/outlet can be turned a few different ways. The pipe also tucks in very close over the clutch cover and engine cases.

It is loud, but sounds great - especially on bigger motors. I'm super happy with the sound and performance on my high compression BBR 106 motor.

PM member 817 put a Pro Circuit T-4 on his 88-99 model "Dirty Memphis". Here are a couple pics and a video (with a hotrod 88cc race head Honda motor), as well as a link to the build thread

That's my #83 bike above that 66cooper posted. That bike is long gone, but from what I remember, there were no issues fitting it on 89'-99' Z50R's. I can't remember if the pipe touched the plastics or not, if it did, I probably put heat tape on the underside of the plastics where it rubbed. The PC T-4 is MUCH louder than the mingunz or any other exhaust I've had for these bikes. Almost obnoxious sounding. I didn't like it. It did come with a spark arrestor which is a plus if riding offroad. The header diameter was smaller on the PC than Minigunz. What I didn't like about the PC is it had a weld on the header right on the bend near the head. IMO, Minigunz is the best sounding pipe I've owned, quality and performance is nice too!
Here is a picture of the PC on my 79'-87' Z50R and a picture of the weld on the header I mentioned. The last pic is the mingunz.

Dirttrakin, could you see or tell why the t4 is so much louder?
Is it the packing inside or?

I do most of my rides around Vegas neighborhoods so I guess my only option is going to be the minigunz because of the loudness factor. Unless by some miracle there is another brand out there we haven't found yet.. Hopefully a couple more of you good buddies out there are in need of a great fitting pipe like I am.

yo, man! I was going to link that video till I saw you beat me to it. That pipe sounds good in person (I took the video, and built the engine.) I have a couple minigunz exhaust, one on the Scorpion bike, and one on the Helen bike. The hardtail model has a 110cc motor, and the soft tail has an 88cc. Both sound good, nice and low. They can be a little loud on acceleration, but not too bad. The soft tail one has an extension on it to get it out past the shock. I was bummed when they were discontinued, so maybe I should sign up on this deal.

Alright guys, with Davmo there might be enough of us for him to make some pipes. Please give Jeff a call at (909)468-5733 to let him know you are interested so he can get to making us some sweet ass exhausts!! I already gave him my contact info so hopefully this will work out for us.

Kplove, in the past when I've done group buys like this they had the vendor or seller set up his paypal and the buyer just sent the money and then put what it was for in the description. I'm not sure if this is something he'd want to do but figured id say it since its worked before.

Spoke with Jeff @ minigunz and he said it will be five weeks to get the pipes made one everyone makes a deposit. So.... I have never really been a patient person when building something as awesome as a pit bike.. But I guess on the upside the rest of the bike will be finished way before then. I hope it'll be worth the wait..
