Takegawa quickshift with Kitaco 4 speed shift drum

Here is my question, since the description says that it works with stock gear drum and Takegawa 4 gears drum

Works with factory 3 speed, and Takegawa 4 speed shift drum

So does it only works with the takegawa drums or its only to make me buy the pricy one instead of the cheap kitaco one ?

If someone could help me on this ?

The Tak quik-shift should work fine with any shift drum..
I've never heard of any issues mixing & matching these parts.
I'm using the Takegawa shift kit with the OEM 4-spd shift drum no problem.
They say that so you'll buy another part from them.. but you're fine with any of them.

im having a shift problem with 3rd gear, do you think its the drum? i have 1st and second no problem but third just grinds and does not engage at all. please any advise would be appreciated.
