Bbr 130, tb cam, primary gear with tb clutch tb stroker, tb 4 speed n 08 output shaft, thing rolls, looks bone stock other than the clutch and is reliable. Revs but has good bottom. It's a awesome motor love it vs my big carb 143

The upper triple clamp in that photo is a ProTaper triple clamp & bar riser with ProTaper 110 bend bars. I am now running a Two Brothers triple clamp with the same bars. I would recommend either setup.

One thing to keep in mind is who you are riding with, and where you are riding. The worst thing to have happen is your bike is too fast or too slow to ride with your friends. And if you have limited riding space you might have more fun on a stock bore bike. But if you do decide to go the 143 or 155 route you can't go wrong with tb parts
This is true...At my backyard track this motor is a bit much, really have to stay out of the throttle to go fast and a good rider on a stock bike can run about as fast with less effort. But when this motor is on long uphill stretches at a big track its nice to let it pull. So it does depend on where you ride and how you ride. And this was the first bike out of my group of friends that ride pit to be built this much...I was the outcast with a ridiculous bike not even worth racing against until everyone else manned up and built theirs.

Speaking from experience, and many others are here too, is that it's very, very easy to get carried away with ordering motor parts and ending up with a crazy motor that is just way too fast for what you want to do with it. If you intend to leave the chassis relatively stock, and don't intend to ride outdoor MX tracks, or very fast motard tracks, then just do the motor build one step at a time. Start simply with a big bore kit only. Without the head. Then see how you like that set up, spend some time on it, and see if you still need more power. Take it from there. I wish I had have done my last build this way. Ended up with a crazy fast motor, and even though it was in a full mod chassis, it was pretty much un-rideable except on a full size MX track, which wasn't why I wanted to ride mini's.

I agree but I would do the bottom end and bore the cases. That way what ever top end you want to run is just a 1hr job

I would stick with tb parts. I have a Chp 160cc kit with a kitaco SE race head and it hard to find replacement parts. It took me about a month to find a replacement piston for my chp kit. Tb part are easy to find. You can go to pax racing, tboltusa, whole sale cycles, xr50.com they all can get replacement part

Ok another question I have. I see a Tb 143 kit with carb, race head, and everything for $440. It's not the v2 head it says its the NEW zongchen head. Anyone heard of this? Is it worth the extra money to buy the head or just wait and see how I like the 143 first?

I would give just a 143 n cam a shot. It's like a new bike but it's not over powering. Also I would get some hd clutch springs cuz you will prolly have a slipping issue so i advise springs just to prevent it
