I dunno if this is the right place to ask this, but is there any proper site for cafe racer/flat track-styled Z's/minis? Im interested to build one from my left over parts that I have.

Also could this be a over-all picture thread? If you have some good photos out of cafe racer Z's, post em up !

That's cool ride, waay cool. But Im looking at something much much more simple. Im loving 481's ride, I just simply love it :p sorry 481 for taking your pic without your permission..

I have a old Jincheng frame at my garage. It's a regular frame, needs shocks but I like the solid rear end on these things. Thought about welding some tubing there like in Z50A's have. Or then just simply put some 280mm shocks there and a tight Honda-type front end. I also dream about putting some Z50R replica tank etc. to that Jincheng frame and swapping the forks, wheels and engine from my CRZ to that frame. To make a Z50R mod-replica. I have too much dreams compared to my wallets thickness..

481_________where did u get your seat most have the buttons on the side?
Just sent you a PM.

The short answer is: I had to take the seat apart to reinforce it because it comes with a thin plastic seat pan that is really crappy. So I had it upholstered at a local upholstery shop. The original seat cover that it came with was really thin, and the buttons are cheesy.

If I ever do another cafe Z, I'll make my own seat from scratch. It almost wasn't worth all the hassle. Luckily it turned out ok because the upholster did a great job. :)

I learned how to TIG weld this week. For my first project I made a proportionally correct rear wheel stand for my Z (still need to paint it). I have a lot more to learn about welding but it turned out decent for my first project. :)

Holy fuck! where did you get those tires? they look cool but, is there any chance they have a high speed rating than the stock tractor grip style tires? I ask becasue i'm interested in tires i can push but, don't ruin the look of the classic 70s Z50. I'm not sure how long my DrATV tractor grips will hold out over 75mph.

I honestly have no idea what the speed rating on them is. I've had this bike around 60+ mph several times without any issues. Here's a link to the tires!
