Ok so I recently installed the tb manual clutch and 88 kit with racehead and sheng wey carb. First line of business is this I cant seem to figure out my jetting problems. It idles fine and if you roll to full throttle its no problem. But if you crack it to full throttle it will start to bog and die. I have tried the biggest main jet, I think its 95 and that didnt help and I also put the needle clip in the richest position. Now on the manual clutch, no matter how loose or tight I make the adjuster screw it still has a little jump foward. Just a small one that jerks the bike and I cant seem to figure it out. Should I just keep messing with it or is it something I missed. Please help with either

Do I really need a bigger pilot? It idles fine and it only bogs when I snap it to full throttle
[h=1]Quick Tips For Small 4-Strokes[/h]
Please Start tuning with a Clean & Properly oiled air filter in place
Please test ride the bike , you cant jet / tune a bike sitting on the stand !

  • If it boggs or dies right off from an idle when you turn the throttle, your pilot is too lean.You Need to get the Pilot tuned in so it will come clean off an idle BEFORE moving on to other adjustments.
  • Your main adjustment is your Main Jet. Once you get your plug close with your main jet, fine tune from there.
  • When fine tuning your adjustment screws, turn them all the way in, and back out, 1 and a Half Turns, for your starting point.

Alrighty I guess I am just going to have to fine tune the air/fuel and needle clip. Does anyone know what would cause that bog? Im at the highest main jet. It doesnt bog off of idle, it bogs second half of throttle when I snap the throttle. Am I just running my air mix screw too lean or rich?

Alright so I have the jetting down. Here is my results; 92 main, 38 pilot, needle 2nd position from bottom. My air screw is 1 3/4 out. Im pretty sure im solid with this. There is bog when I crack the throttle only when im not riding it. And the clutch just needed some fine tuning here and there. Now does anyone know if the 50 cal forks will take disc brakes
