Skidplate was a eBay one and was cracked in half the clutch arm was welded on the motor had no oil so I don't know if it ran the front brakes didn't work the frame and swingarm were all scratched up and the only way you could start it was to touch to bare wires together while kickin it over and the guy said its a full bbr bike and that its not worth anything less than 2500

^ You are the FIRST dude to comment on that!!! Hahahah I thought everyone would love or hate it... But it just went unnoticed lol.

TR165 and I had an apartment together waaay back. And when we moved in there was just this one rim in the garage. For a lil while I had it on the back of my POS Ford Bronco II as the spare... Only because it was rediculious on it.

Which was the same idea for the bike stand... It is (IMO) completely rediculious, hysterical, and over all not something you see everyday.
At a shop I worked at, at the time had a decent CNC. I just waxed off the top and bottom and VoilĂ !!! Instant bling bling ghetto stand!!!

Haha nice. I'm used to seeing buckets or crates used for stands but never that lol I got a good laugh out of it!

So what would be a good price on a 124 takagawa motor. Not roller rocker head. But has tak clutch and tak 3 speed tranny? I found one and think I want it.
$1000 to $1400 is what I usually saw them go for depending on condition and age. I personally probably wouldn't go much over 1200 unless I knew when the motor was built and how fresh it is.

I wouldn't buy a used 124 for 1500 unless it had tak trans and clutch and complete intake and nice carb and LOW hours. The thing about buying one of these high end engines used is you could looking at $500 bucks for rebuild at any moment.

Ive got 3 124+Rs with a S35 cam.. 2 have AHP 4 speeds and one has the new TAF Takegawa 5 speed close ratio. I race on pavement. With a S20 cam PE28 carb on the dyno they put 13hp to (14hp with S35 cam) to the rear tire with pump gas. On MR12 ( VP INTRODUCES MR12 - MAXIMUM POWER FOR 4-STROKES) With a S20 cam right at 15hp and with S35 cam 16.5 to 17hp... All runs were made with PE28 carb and Kitaco IRK with 30 degrees of advance at 12,000 rpm.. Also FMF 4.1 made the best power curve out of like 5 or 6 different pipes tried.. Every dyno is different so these numbers could be off one way or the other but all were made on the same day so the difference in hp from the different setups would be correct...

I don't know how many hours on it but it does have tak trans and clutch. Comes with carb and I think electronics. How many hp should I expect. Will it be a lot more than my 108.
You should notice a big increase from a tb 108. I was shocked by the increase when I went from a tb 108 to the tb 117. The 117 is a 51mm stroke and 54mm bore and the 124 is a 54x54. Adding the stroke is probably super nice too.

Yup!
This 5 speed mans trans, Magnesium clutch cover, Tak superhead 124 motor w/ Tak intake and 26mm flat slide Mikuni is worth $1500 during pic.

Man these hp numbers being mentioned are lower than I expected. I thought tak claimed 17 whp in the 124+rs? I knew that was probably inflated but I thought they would be good for 14-15 out of the box.
Yeah I'm with you on that. That would put my 117 in the 10-11hp range then correct?
