Well I gotta retap two of my footpeg mounts, I was wondering whar thread spacing I gotta use? I know I have to retap it to 3/8 but what thread spacing? Does it really matter?

Stock threads are M10x1.0 if I recall correctly.

Well the stock bolts I had were measuring in at 16 per inch

Shit I ment 20 lol I just need to know what to tap it out as, I seen on a thread someone said 3/8x16 I just want to make sure before I do it!

I am not positive what you are asking, but I can say that the stock footpeg bolts are M8 bolts, 20mm long.

I'm asking what size do I have to retap the new holes to bc two of the holes are stripped out

Yea the threads are done I push the bolt in lol Idk if I can clean those up! That's why I was just going to retap it one size bigger

I'd use a heli coil kit so you can keep the stock peg bolts and don't have to drill out pegbars

Amazon is where I get mine. They are more expensive than a helicoil, but are just as strong if not stronger than the stock threads.
