I'm not sold on cradles. If I had to do it again I would just get longer hardware and be done with it.

Before you say how wrong I am, 3D modeled a TBolt cradle and did an FEA analysis on it so I know where the load is and what kind of stress there is.

I also hardness tested it so I knew exactly what kind of steel it was.

She needs a little Carb work. Ill be going back to stock air box cause I live in sand. I don't trust exposed air filters like that. It wont run or idle without choke on. Pilot jet was kinda clogged so Tuesday ill clean it out and do a full on Carb clean. Spark plug is roached. But with choke on it'll run like normal. I lost a bolt that holds the rear brake linkage to the hub so I need to fix that. It has gobs of power but needs some fine tuning.

Suspension is stiff! So far I like it. All the mods make it an awesome bike. But it needs a little tlc to be primo.

Carb is clean and new plug makes it actually run well! I'm surprised by it!

Next on tthe list:
Regular air filter
New Cam in rear drum (snapped)
New brakes all around
Swingarm bushings
New chain
Polish this thing!

Got some goodies in for tthe KLX today.
Cleaned her up a bit and got all the years of dirt and grease off. New DID chain on, new MX51 rear tire, new grips and more coming. It was a productive day.

Today also marks the first day I actually got to ride it hard since I got it. Man, I am amazed at how quick it is. The suspension is primo too. No bottoming even on my transfer jump and my double and my step down. I also have Uni filter coming and all the items to fix my rear brakes. Ill try to get some videos tomorrow and some nice pics for you guys to enjoy.
