x3. Please let us know! I just came home with a new crf110 last night! When it was warming up at the dealer, I made note of the noise and they said it was most likely the clutch. I have never had an automatic so thought that must be it. Now that I see this, I am afraid my timing will jump. There is no way I am opening this thing myself! I am not afraid to, however, I bought a new bike so I wouldn't have to do anything except regular maintenance without fixing things..! Woof!

Comes with a 30 day warrenty. I wouldn't stress it. Every one I've heard of goes away when warm... And I've also heard there has been no warrenty claims on the motor yet.... So not sure how true it is any of them actually jumped tooth.

Hey guys sorry its taken so long to reply to this thread. The problem we had with one of the ones we sold was the check valve in the tensioner was stuck and wouldn't lock up. They have pretty much the same tensioner setup as a crf50. I don't think there would be enough slack in the chain to jump a tooth. I ran the bike for about 10mins trying to get the tensioner to bleed up on its own before I pulled it out and cleaned it with brake cleaner and compressed air. Once I refitted it it bled up straight away.

Def thanks for that heads up.

I will speak to the techs where I work to let them know and have them check Honda service rep when he come in this week.

Jordo. I would love to know all you've done to your motor.
And any hints you can give me to make mine better. The sho me pit bike series has a 110 stock/mod class and a 12" am class. Would love to get it competitive with the 12 am but with 160 and 190 Daytona motors being built it will be tough to keep up with.
Thanks

LOL, I'm not going to tell you, or anyone what I've got under the valve cover.... Sorry buddy :) Tho I will say I've had a YX165 with big carb, cam, and pipe.... My CRF 110 would dominate, demoralize and humiliate that 165...
Ive never riden a 190 v4.... But then again... They haven rode my snarling, fire breathing, baby killing CRF.

If you think your man enough to handle cut throat, all business, NO sympathy power... I can give you my motor builders contact info.
But be forewarned... The exhaust note will strike more fear in your heart then a terroris with 100 nukes.

Starting to mod out my crf110
Oh hellz yeah! Great start man! Keep going!

Jordo. That's too funny. Your pretty cool. I not looking to radically change the motor. But simply upgrade its power and still keep the reliability. Not looking for 160 or 190 cc motors that will fly apart. I can make a smaller motor work just as good or better. It all in how you ride.

I don't want your top secrets. Lol, just hints needed to help my new ride run more efficient on the track without a bunch of noise.

We need to keep sound levels down so we don't lose our riding areas to Whiney liberals.

Any help again is greatly appreciated and kept secret from one mxer to another.

* athem (<-- that's the sound of me clearing my throat... annoyed) I'll pretend I didn't see the "liberals" comment. (Cursing you under my breath)

There is nothing out right now that you can buy and install into your CRF 110 motor for performance gains other then BBR's bigger carb and I believe Yoshi and FMF have pipes out. Other then that, you have to make it. And if your spending 4 digits anyway... Go big, that's what I did.
