It may be too late now for some parts without sand blasting them, but wash as soon as you can when you are done riding. Use tire cleaner, simple green, etc. when washing off your bike and preferably a power washer, though a simple hose will work fine. Once you are done cleaning, dry off your bike right away with an old towel. Get paper towels, some wd-40 and armourall. Use armour-all on the plastic, wd-40 on just about everything else. Armourall also makes something for tires too, it makes a world of difference.

instead of riding you spend many hrs meticulously taking it all apart polishing the shit out of it and meticulously putting it back together......lol had to get that out ......If u actually RIDE the thing it should not look "new" just don't put her away wet,use good cleaners, spend time drying everything (after washing), and use something to the effect of wd-40 that repels water either way time is what makes them look so good no ez way around it...My $0.02

i ride every weekend and all my bikes still look brand new .... I use purple power or bleach white (tire cleaner) , dont spray directly on anodized parts because it wil fade them , let sit for a minute and spray the bike off , ive been using purple power forever and bikes look showroom condition , like others say dry really well!

Drying is everything!!!!!!!!!!! I still get oxidization on everything though! you Californian people don't don't realize you don't have to deal with salt lol. If I want to ride in the winter its so hard to keep everything from getting phucked I dont ride on the roads but ny just dumps that shit on the roads and it gets every where ....in spring its like sand on the side of the road! that's why I keep her as clean as I can but f it I ride china ...

I have been detailing cars for a while on the side...started as full time. Its all about knowing what product to use and taking the time to do it correctly, having an eye for the detail (a "detailed" car) is what I sell. its not verry hard but takes mad time and many learned tricks! but at the basis its what cuts what and what protects it because if you do it correctly while cleaning something you strip the pro-tect-ant and need to re apply!

I bought a brand new sled at 18 & I feel like cameron frye's dad in the garage wiping my princess with diapers...BUT when the snow is on the ground she turns into my b**** and I ride it like I stole it from some white collar douche! funny what happens when the helmet is on!

dilute allot to begin with with both....is its not cutting it step it up but go way further then u would expect to begin look at the bottle and go 2 clicks further with water (that's what actually transports the grime)....remember the (simple green/purple power) only loosens the grime the water is what carry's it away ....you need just enuff cleaner to loosen the grime + brushes and then the water to flush it away
