I have these two parts for the takegawa special clutch setup. You could use these to do all sorts of neat things with your motor with these two things such as swapping in a chinese or daytona clutch cover and mid-block basket with a little know-how.

Anyway, CHP sells these two parts for $100 plus their ridiculous shipping. I can do better. $70 shipped. If you want to try something really different I also have a trx90 clutch cover machined to take a kickstarter and the extension tube that goes to the end of that cover if you wanted to try that. Add another $30 for those.

The advantage is more than that. It moves the heavy clutch basket off the crankshaft which then allows the motor to rev up tremendously fast. The clutch basket also spins about 1/3 less fast when it is off the crank, meaning that you'll never destroy it due to revving the motor...a stock backet will come apart around 11k...your motor will come apart before a secondary clutch comes apart from overrevving. Finally, most secondary clutches have 4+discs where as a stock style can only contain up to 3. Advantage for better clutch feel.

Well, you can actually make changes if you can do a little machining. Take a trailbikes billet basket and match it up with these parts. You'll need to machine one of those gears in the back of the clutch basket clean, but other than that, it will work great. Then for your clutch cover, you can use the daytona version...
