oh damn was seeing if you were california area to bang some bars at the track or race the cars lol. good find on the bike man
Nope pretty far away from Cali haha. But yeah I wish there were more of a pit bike crew around. There's a few but not much. Same with the car scene here. Just 2 imports that are quicker then most of the domestics around.

yea i had my hands in the honda game for a while, had some pretty fast ones but they were getting me in trouble out in california. cops out here dont like seeing big front mounts and no exhaust haha
thankfully we dont have to deal with that here. no emmissions test or anything. they dont like loud exhuasts but with the last motor setup in the car i drove around with the hood exit exhaust every once in a while. but the car hasnt been out of the garage ina year and a half.

so i found out putting tires on these little rims are fucking hard as shit. broke 3 tire levers and then used a flat head after i was super pissed and then pinched the tube. needless today i dropped them off with a buddy that works at the local yamaha deelership today and asked him to get them on for me tomorrow. whoever i saw say online "if you can do a bike tire you can do a 50 tire" is on crack cocain. i work at a bike shop and have riden bmx proffesionaly for a long time and have changed more then my fair share of flats and a bike tire comes not wear close to a 50 tire.

Yes it is a pain. The thing I find most helpful is tire dope or grease. Pop the bead loose and coat the sides down with the grease or tire dope and then take the tire off. Makes life a lot easier for changing 50 tires. I always try to use good quality tire levers too. Motion pro makes some good ones. 8 and a half inch and they also have some 11 inch ones too. The 11's are where it's at too. The more leverage the better on 50 tires. I've changed street bike tires with shovels, just cut old tires off with sawzall's and many other screwed up ways you're not supposed to do things but you work with what you've got at hand.

50 tires are hard sometimes. I agree 100% that using some form of lube I essential. Soapy water, a very lite coat of oil, windex...take your pick. Be sure to inflate the tube just a little before you stuff it in which will help decrease your chance of pinching the tube. I learned how to do this just a few months ago and it has been a life saver...and it saves a ton of money...$25 for tire irons, or 25/tire per time. My friends are glad I did this. Lol

Yeah I'm not to excited to pay 50-60 bucks to have 2 tires mounted that's for sure. So I need to protect this to save a little money. I used the soapy water trick which helped but the tire was still being stubborn. I have the two wheels and tires that it came with so maybe il practice on them.

Yeah 10" tires can be a real mother but get 2 or 3 good tire irons and some tire lube and you should be able to do it. If you stick with this hobby paying someone every time you need a tire or tube changed will add up quick to big money.

Also this hasn't been mentioned yet. For the tire you're changing out you can put some heat to it to soften the rubber some. That can help as well. I've had to do it a couple times on some beastly tires. Most of the time I do it the normal way with tire dope, levers and elbow grease.

well got it to run tonight. just gotta wait for a chain to get here tomorrow and go out to the yamaha show and have them break it to size and put it on since i do not have a big chain breaker.
but i did get it to idle by adjusting the idle screw a bit. just stays high up on idle for a few seconds which il have another kid from here take a look at it.
going to change the oil and put fresh fuel in it and hopefully ride it this weekend.

out of everything with the complete piranha kit there is only 2 things im not perfectly satisfied about
the front brake doesnt seem to squeeze evenly so it rubs pretty bad so im going to have a guy at work look at it tomorrow since hes very knoledgeable with disk brakes on bicycles where as i am not.
and the other is the rear brake master cylinder rod thing rubs the swingarm and you cant press the rear brake unless you are on the bike compressing the rear shock giving it room. not a huge deal but something im giong to have to fix at work with a better variety of tools then with the few i brought home. most likely going to drill another hole in the brake arm to pull it in toward the rear of the motor more so it doesnt run the cross brace.
here is a pic of where it rubs

put this is how it looks all together with no plastics or chain

Looks good so far man. You try bleeding the front brake any? How's the pressure on it?

well i got the chain on. and rode it around work in the rain with no plastics or seat on so i got soaked. but already love it. bogs down about on lowend if you give it to much throttle but if you roll into it it gets up and goes pretty good. need to adjust the rear brake a bit. but other then that it runs pretty good. hopefull my plastics show up soon so i can ride it without getting hit by mud and crap from the rear tire since the rear fender is missing on the plastics i have.
il prolly be putting some of the old stuff up for sale soon so if you see something you want just message me and maybe can work out a deal.
