Klx 110 is popping

Just noticed today that when i let off the throttle my 110 makes a weird backfire popping noise. Just bought a t-4 for it so idk whats going on. I cleaned the air screw and adjusted it, changed the air filter, cleaned the carb and drained the bowl. I'm not sure what else i could do. Any ideas?
The motor is bone stock btw!

To lean get a bigger main jet...try that...

What size jet do you think would do the trick?

kind of hard to say, if you have an open filter, a 40 pilot and 88 main or 42 pilot and 85 main should do the trick. But I am at a different elevation in Illinois and run an open air filter.

I don't run an open filter yet, haven't decided if i really want to. Does it make much of a difference?

it will make a difference but it also calls for alot more cleaning of the air filter

Check your exhaust bolts and make sure they are tight. Did you go with a new exhaust gasket when you installed the pipe?

That could be your problem bro... usually thats what it is when I bike that has always ran fine starts popping... that or air leak/trash in carb.

Okay i'll check it out again when i get home! Also i realized that my kickstarter will start swaying back and forth when i go through whoops ( like its loose or something ) is there anything i can do to change that?

ive had both those problems, when i got my new exhaust i was so excited to get it on i forgot to put my exhaust gasket on and backfired like crazy when i put that on it sounded good after that. then with the kickstarter did you put on a ott brake lever cuz when i did that and put the kickstart back on the lever was in the way so i had to put the kicker like 1 or 2 teeth farther back and that was enough to have gravity push it down when i landed a jump or through whoops. so first try to move the kicker forward a tooth or 2 like closer to the engine and if the break lever is in the way bend it just a little bit where it restricts the kicker so the kicker could move forward more.
