I thought id post my misfortune for giggles... At this point all i can do is laugh and buy parts... Bought the bike on the cheap and i know why! Story is. I went to buy this used pitbike for my son and i to ride around on. I went threw my normal checks and asked the guy to fire the bike up. Purred like a kitten due to the mikuni carb on. Was impressed and took it out for a lite spin. All went well and talked him down fairly easy due to some cosmitic choices.. Should have taken as a warning. Anyway got it home and decided to see what the bike was made of. Put in it 2nd gear and give it a handful.... Slippin false neutral BEAST! yay i said. Came here ask for ideas, got them, ordered parts and began teardown. Finally get motor out and pull off left side flywheel cover and what do i find..... Jb-weld special! All behind the case and spur gear. Sweet.... Lesson learned i guess. Will be ordering a new case.. Really suprised there was no air leak effect but i now know why it left an oil spot on my garage floor. Lesson is stay frosty when on a craigslist mission. Hahaha... Enjoy the pic

Peace
Aaron

Been there and done that, as many of us have. I bought a motorcycle sight unseen 200 miles north of me trusting the seller. Never again will I do that! The bike needed massive work and now I am stuck with a great bike at a terrible price and got burned by my own doing. Lucky for you members sell motors here pretty cheap about $275.00 should be a plug and play replacment. Maybe you paid that for the whole bike I don't know? But, don't feel alone. It happens until you trust nobody and never drop your fists...

TTXR Out~~

Yeah no feelings hurt here... I just had to laugh because the guy had to work his ass off to make it look right, and to even run right.. At this point ill buy the case and run the motor out and look for better down the road... All part of the ride right?!? :)

Tried to order a LF side case for the lifan 125 and what was pictured would have been correct... what i received was close except where the kick starter shaft rest in the new case... No place to mount the stop plate( i think that is what it is) and where the bearing rest is too long and wont allow the case to close? FML!!! just give me the pictured part! ( email was sent and hoping the response isn't a joke) i may have one pist off wife when i break the news....

update*** response was a joke. go figure
