Just ordered a perimeter bike tonight, it used to be someones on here (the frame is powdercoated black with a lime green pinstripe and the swing arm and subframe are both powdercoated lime green, forget who built that one?), but its complete with sano bombshell forks, already sold to get new style zokes, gonna run my old style ones for now. And TB88 with race head (putting that in my superpro and building a hell of an engine for this beauty

) .. Looking for suggestions on what to do with the scheme of the bike, my idea was to make an exact replica of my 2010 250f race bike (ill add a pic for reference) so that would involve having the frame re chromed, or, having my buddy powder coat the the whole frame kit black and doing a very unique primmy so its completely original and stands out from the crowd.. any insight would be appreciated. Cant wait to get everything started next week

the pics i added are how the bike looks from who im buying it from, its gonna be a completely different bike by the time im done. and im set on doing red hubs and black wheels because i love the way it looks on my big bike.

Ill keep it updated as i make progress!

I think only bbr is the only pipe unless you find a custom pipe or have one made. I think little replica bikes are cool. Once i get money flowing again this spring I'm gonna make one of my 110s a replica to my 450.

Yeah it needs some serious TLC.. i'm gonna take my time with the frame kit and make sure its redone to perfection so i can keep it perfect. Still cant decide on the frame and swingarm color yet

o yaa nice another primmy build ! , id do black frame , black zokes , black swinger with red letters , red plastics with crf graphics/muscle milk !

i remember that bike i liked the pin stripe down the frame in the groove but the green swinger looked horrible but each to there own as far as style goes, black frame with a red pin stripe would look wicked, black swingarm and polish out the BBR.

only down side is they only look nice for a while if you ride them unless you like to take everything apart to detail it

My vote is to blast the powder off the frame polish it then have it anodized. It seems like a lot of people are starting to powder and polish the letters. Not that it looks bad just saying that's what I would do it would definitely stand out. Like these hubs looks like glass http://planetminis.com/community/topic/171327-reeg-mx-hub-set-frontrear-red/

Good luck with the build its good to see people still building "50s"

Haha i like the muscle milk idea, but im definitely leaning towards black frame black swinger just dont know what i wanna do with the BBR logo on the swinger yet.

And i saw those hubs and started thinking the same thing about anodizing but not sure where i could have that done or how much it would run me.. definitely a better quality look if i went with anodizing over pc.

IMO if you really want to stand out to, get/make a different exhaust than the BBR. Thats my least favorite thing about the perimeters, almost everyone you see has the same pipe, and I personally think the BBR pipe looks very bland.

i agree completely its very plain and there are no original or unique looking exhausts for it. that was actually my next idea, have one of my buddies whos great at pipe bending just make me a custom header to mid-pipe, then get one of the aftermarket exhausts where the muffler is detachable and run a set up like that, or just weld a muffler of my choice on there. one thing im confused by with that is where would i get the proper pipe for this, and how do i go about getting that pipe i need but flared at the end where it meets the head of the motor? my guess was welding a separate piece of pipe thats the correct diameter?
