anyone know if the mini track is open. Shame to let it sit. Be awesome if it would open up some night for a few hours.

Hey Steve. It's not open. I talked to the guy through emails last year, and he said there wasnt enough

people showing up to keep it open. Damn shame because it's a really fun little track, and it sucks that it's

just sitting there, when we could be riding it. I wish more people would email him and tell him to open it back up.

Although I'm sure it wouldn't do much good. He said paying flaggers, and upkeep of the track wasnt worth it.

I argued that there were a few days when alot of guys showed up to ride, but he didnt want to hear any of it.

Bummer...

probably could make some good $. I'd pay $30 to ride it for the day or a nice 4 hr session some night. I wish I had a big chunk of land.....make a cool, safe mini track and have a ride night once a week. I bet it would catch on......minis only of course

Well I can see him not wanting to open it and maintain it for obviously reasons if he wasnt braking even on it. I would suggest telling him we would do upkeep on the track if we were allowed to ride it, or maybe appoint someone to do it for free knowing that they would be able to ride it.

yeah same here last year i was told it was closed to parking lot improvments and this year they said it didnt draw in enough people to open it. ive got a busy schedule and its not always possible to drive an hour and a half out to rocky hill. i wish we could get a closer pit track opened up.
