hey all, my friend installed the bbr 88 bore kit on his bike, and he has a problem with it. it starts right up and idles but it wont rev past a certain rpm. like 4 or 5 grand. other than that it revs good no backfiring or bogging in the rpms it will travel. i dont know if timing could effect it. it just seems like in cant suck in enough air or something. we took the air filter off and it still ran like that. and the throttle opens all the way so were lost. any one have any suggestions?

get a bigger carb! stock carb is weak!

If you guys didnt change the main jet to a much much bigger one then obviously your gonna have problems, get a bigger carb and youll be fine as mentioned above.

i would check the timming. i have ran stock carbs on big motors with out rejetting with no problems. just because you put in a bigger piston doesnt meen you need a bigger main jet.
