D/fw Riders: Burleson Motocross Pit-Bike Race 05/22/11!

Maybe if have a couple good turn outs, we could start our own little series at BMX. Like have 3 or 4 rounds, and if that goes good, maybe talk to Village about having a race on their mini track, then see if TMX would add on to their track and add them to the series.

I like that idea. Keep in mind baby steps guys. Let's do this race and then go from there.

Nathan (I call him Nate) from Killer Motorsports stepped up and threw down the $100 overall award as soon as I mentioned I was trying to find a way to promote a better turnout for the regular scheduled race. I think him, and Killer Motorsports, definitely deserve a 'Thank You' from all of us. By the way, Nate will be racing with us. He's a damn good big-bike rider, who just bought a 110 that's sure to make you drool... We'll have our hands full trying to win that $100 with him on the gate.



As for me.... Show up, introduce yourself, race (when you can) and have a good time is all I want. If that happens I'll continue to donate money (when I can) toward doing what we all enjoy, riding them pit-bikes!

Oh and do they give plaques or medals for the pit bike class or is it the usual, thanks for coming and a pat on the back? If they don't I may be able to come up with some small medals for 1-3? May be kinda getto fab but still be something... Interested?

Alright boys, pumped about next weekend it will be my first pit bike race. Done a lot of big bike racing but not pitters. So been in the shop turning a few screws, and tuning a bit this morning. Put my blue plastic back on and got some new bars. Tell me what ya think.
