Wow... that's how you did it!! I'm going to take the TBR OTT brake lever back from my son's bike. He'll be pissed, but it was suppose to go on 'my' KLX. I've got two boys coming up in size and they'll each get the 110's... then I get to upgrade. I'm having fun on the minis for the time being. Knowing how you did this is so helpful... not the way I envisioned a $110 part going on but I'll mod a MOD to make it work. Man vs. machine... chalk another one up for man!

I know the bolt next to the washers serves as a travel Stop... the spring will pull the lever up. You advance or shorten the bolt to adjust the height of the lever at the toe. Did you get the instructions? Try this link... it shows you in step #5

Let's see a pic of that kickstand in action!

Hey how's it going?! most wouldn't understand, but I just bought a 110L Kickstand from Mr. Lake Havasu City... I bolted it onto our '07 KLX and FINALLY the dang thing was able to stand on it's own at the ride site. We went out yesterday and I didn't have to take the trusty short peice of 2x4 to prop under the stock kickstand. Man outsmarted the machine a second time...I'm still rtying to even the score thou. Funny that you recognize me!! I'll put a picture up on the recent thread 110L kickstand... after all the suspension changes I needed a longer kickstand.

I'm gonna have a 1,000 questions for Imaballa... if I can get my 110L to look half as nice I'll be pleased. I'm afraid I'll never get killer forks & disc brakes...just too rich for my family show boat ( I've got 4 rides to keep running).

ask away if you need help

That was going to be my next round of questions... figured I'd give you a day before I strat asking why you did it that way... figured you were in a "over the top" kind of mood and wanted everything up out of harms way. So you'd put it back 'down under' if you were to try again. Hmm.

I noticed you had quite the stack of washers on the Pivot bolt... too bad those weren't $100 chips at the poker table. I know the billetware swingarm came with some cool billet washers to make up the space on the stock bolt. I'll have to shop for those somewhere.

OK last question ... where the heck did you come across a Ricky Carmichale swing arm? Was that a limited production thing or was it from one of his actual race bikes?? I bow at the sight as I'm not worthy, ha-ha

BBR was out of stock on the regular swingers but they had 1 RC4 version left so they offered it to me.

And about the washers. Yea. I kind of ruined the bolt that came with the swingarm so I had to use the stock swingarm bolt with washers

I could be wrong but you need to move the resi. On my perimeter i could make the rear wheel touch the bottom of the fender an at that angle im pretty sure your swinger will smash that resi.

hmm .. i've seen several mounted similar to mine.. I just dont know where else I could mount it because this bike has the battery. I'll look into it though. Thanks for the heads up.

Thought I'd post up a few pictures of the 110L BBR upper shock relocation mount... growing interest as more 110L's get out to the MOD scene. I got this direct from BBR for $280 plus freight... ( don't hold them to the price... as I think this was a proto type run??). Or they were to end of their supply... last month this was 1 of 2 they had left.

Picture is worth a thousand words:
truely a work of metal art IMO... it's pretty, shiny & new! It's been sitting on my desk next to the monitor like a mini sculpture LOL

Hey 1derdad

Would you be able to measure the inside diameter of where the shock bolts in to the upper shock mount, and also the inside diameter of the shock mount on the swingarm??????? If you could do that that would help me alot!!!!!!!!

Thanks Heaps!!!!!!

Cool, you will get there just ask questions and look for deals on here, that's what I did and it worked wonders. Good luck on your L build!

well the 2011 i had was a turd stock, so i bored it lightly just to a 134 with stock carb and was still sloww!! but then i slapped a 26mm carb kit on it and she hauled!!! they upped the motor power but still run same carb. they just need some more air flow then they run great.
