It says for the m28 carb. I'm pretty sure mine is the VM26. I may be missing something though. Also i was hoping for a kit with a few different sizes of pilots. Any help is much appriciated.

Thanks

trailbikes sells a good main jet kit but their pilot jets are only a 17.5 and 20. Right now I have a 22.5 and still tuning so I got a 25 just in case. The pilot jets I know for sure are the same ones out of banshee carbs. I have just been buying them from my yamaha dealer like that. I could get you the part number if you want. I tried searching websites and parts books but I must have been reading something wrong too because I never found anything for a vm26 carb

just take out youre pilot jet and look ad the pictures.

if it looks the same and its the same size,it wil fit the vm26.

i just orderd 5 pilotjets from them.(size15)

we run the daytona150 whit the vm26 145 and 15 jets.

those pilots might be the right ones but those main jets dont look like they will work. Here is the main jet kit I ordered http://www.tboltusa.com/store/mikun...re/mikuni-vm-26-main-jet-kit-p-550.html?osCsid=d3a714b72544c29505697437b38aabd4

Let me know what jets you use. Right now I have a 22.5 pilot with a 175 main. The pilot seems good but I think the main is way to rich. Im gonna change it out tomorrow and go from there. The bike will idle well and hold its idle and if I rev it real quick it will be fine but when I build up the revs slowly it sputters. Its definitely not backfiring and bogging and my plug is as black as can be. Im thinking around a 150 jet should work because thats what mine came with

I was having a bog when i first gas it up and was told i need to raise my pilot from a 22.5 to a 25. I looks like my main is a 190. I thought i was l looking at it wrong cuz that seems high, but it works fine. I do agree with the one dude though. Those mains don't look like mine, which is ok for now cuz i'm hoping i just need the 25 pilot

That 190 main does sound really rich but I dunno I have a 165 main right now and it seems to ride perfect but the plug seems to read that its a little lean. I don't see why I would richen it up if it doesn't need it but I don't want to ruin the engine

The pilot jet in the kit i linked about is right. Not so sure about the mains though. Luckily enough i didn't need them. The 25 pilot made it run like a raped date. No bog. Good on top and bottom. Now my pitster can continue to kick the klx and drz's ass! haha Just kidding guys. thanks for all the help.

What main jet did you go with? Im running a 22.5 pilot and havent went up to a 25 yet because the 22.5 feels so good. I think my problem is in my main jet. I have a 165 right now in and it feels good no bog or sputter but the plug shows it a little lean so Im kinda confused

Its not normal on these bikes to hear the engine rpms increase from idle when you turn the forks to the right? Like if im idling with the forks straight its fine but if I turn them to the right the revs increase a pretty good amount. Nothing happens if I turn to the left and there is nothing catching the throttle cable so is the cable just to short? I see that they make different cables for all the different size carbs. Maybe I dont have the right size cable because its annoying

carbs and engine combos are all different even identical set ups. say u have 2 identical engines he jetting could be different probably real close but different. you just have to play with the carb and see what the engine wants

I have a Klx110L with a tb 143 big bore kit and race head with the cam a piranha ignition coil bbr rev box mikuni vm 26 carb and pro circuit exhaust I have a 190 main jet and when I get oh it real hard it bogs down and also on the top end it cuts out real bad. Any suggestions?
