I always loved my Pro Circuit T4...amazing quality, sound, and performance...seen some hokey beat up FMF pipes around here though...

Don't want to threadjack but taz69 if you read this, did you ever test the CHP pipe? I've actually heard that the CHP make the best power...but I might have heard that from a CHP distributor soooo

...I've got the pipe on my Tak 124 and it sounds and runs great so I was just wondering what a comparison might show...
Yeap I have. And the CHP is a close third right there with the Ti-Force.. They both made the same torque but the TI had a little better top end cause the CHP pipe dosent have that third BIG step up before the canister and that step help gives top end.. The CHP pipe only steps up twice so it has great bottom and mid but the other 2 pipes have that third step and pull a little more HP.. Now I have and OLD CHP pipe that was hand made by Lyle at CHP and looks identical to the FMF pipe.. Has a LARGE step just before the can and it gives up a little down low and makes the same as the FMF or the TI up top.. I came accross it Lyle made 10 and has one on his wall at work. They were like 600.00 brand new back then I got it used for like 150.00.. I would use the new CMP for dirt where you need great bottom end but TI or FMF for street rideing..

Awesome! Thanks the info! The new UHF CHP pipe that they recently released has 4 steps so maybe it evens out the power throughout the low-high end range? I've never seen one on a bike in person or in pictures even so that could be interesting to find out when I can afford and compare new vs old... Thanks again for an informative post!
