ok well ive read were some guy was talking about doing this in some sano or red baron forks or something..

got the steps or a thread with build pics on how this is done?

also how well do they perform?

No steps, but it's pretty easy.

How it feels will depend on how long the pvc spacers are, how thick the oil is, and how much oil you run in them.

My buddy did this to my other buddies bike, and it was honestly the best feeling stock forks I've ridden with.

He ran 20wt. oil and a inch of pvc on ea. leg.

I used to run stocker forks with pvc spacers, dampening rods and heavy oil.. They were real stiff lol I don't remember what oil or how long of spacers were in them.

Now I run kx60 forks done by Feal. I know they have race tech emulators in them. They feel really great I'm happy with them! The only complaint I have with the 60 forks is the drum brakes.

yea i was going to say. i've seen your forks in fact i see them everytime you lap me lol and they sure dont look stock

ok so put a 1in pvc spacer on the top of the spring.. stock spring or aftermarket heavy duty spring and some 20wt oil?

im like 190 and i ride pretty aggressive.. so idk if that makes a difference

Stock springs and im 145.

You're a lot heavier, maybe you should just run some springs with thicker oil.

If you want to go the cheapest route, the pvc/oil should work well enough.
