I got mine for free. My cousin's friend bought one new, moved away and needed to store it somewhere, so they stored it at my house. We lost contact with him so 15 years later I got the title transfered to me so I got a free zb50!!!

Hard bike to find. took me 2 yearS to find one and then another came up and i bought that. one is MINT! Have not seen one in a while except for EBAY.

If you find one buy it cause they are so RARE!

I always liked them but never seriously looked for one. I do check out the local classified paper everyday for BARGAINS! One morning I saw a $400 ZB50 for sale in there. :)

About 6 miles away from my house... I couldn't believe it! I called and the seller told me that it was in real nice condition. I went to look at it and he came clean... the kickstarter and 1st gear didn't work. Also the swingarm was bent pretty bad but I didn't notice it in all the excitement.

He told me that I was the 1st one to come look at it but that he had a lot of calls about it since I had called a day earlier. They didn't know what they had. :)

I didn't even try to talk him down because I knew how rare and valuable the bike was. I paid $400, loaded it up and took it home! My intentions were to fix it up and sell it on ebay but I fell in love with it! Whoops!

Needs some work but would be a wicked project bike!

REMEMBER how RARE the zb50 is. The other MINT ZB50 on EBAY is at $3400 USD.Reserve has not been met.

act fast if you wanna get one!

the best story i've got is of this guy in dallas that bought one for like 4 or 500 it was dusty, but mint.....the old lady he bought it from called him back like two weeks later and he thought she was trying to get more money out of him because she found out what it was worth, well, that was not the case. her cousin or one of her relatives had two "minibikes" in his garage he also wanted to get rid of...he went over there and saw just two crates...well, after taking the tarps off of the crates revealed two zb50's never uncrated, no nothing...he got both of them for $1000.....horrible huh...lol...

I'll sell my excellent condition one for $20 bux, first come first served.

(though shipping and handling will be about $14,000).

This is true, I have sold the bikes to a member on here and he has already begun restomoding them and riding them. They went to a good home.

I am not sure what all the big deal is about them. I see them in the Cycle Trader down here all the time.

People act like they are unicorns or something. Why is that.

Maybe they just are not available in other parts of the country or something. But every month I get a call from the Honda shops with someone wanting to sell one and I also see them in the Cycle Trader.

This is the link to what he was talking about.

I was looking for a project ZB for 4 to 6 months before i found mine. I was seeing them go for 600 up to 2700.00

I wanted a real fixer uper that i wouldnt mine doing a whole bunch of custom stuff to. NSR/MonkeyR conversion.

I ended up buying mine off a friend for next to nothing. When i got it the bike was a buch of parts in boxes.

I have a Skyteam ST90 (ZB50 clone) new in the crate that I will sell cheap. email me at
