Im waiting for my cases to get back from boring to install my 117. I stopped by the motard track this week and they only allow up to 110 cc motors. If youre not gonna race it really doesnt matter. Something to think about.

But, if youre not gonna do organized races you probably will just end up wishing you had a 117 kit (I know I would). So mine as well cut to the chase and do it right away. Good luck either way!

The 108cc has plenty of power and torque and you can do all sorts of mods on the 108.

Heres what Ive learned... Once you start modifying your fiddie with Big bore up grades such as a 88cc your going to wonder what a 100cc motor goes like. Then a 106cc and 108cc or 117cc or 124cc and so on and so on.

What gets me is why nobody is going for the smaller cc's and getting them tuned correctly. Bigger isn't always better. A high compression stroked 70cc something motor with a worked head, intake and Carb also Cam and Ign. will Hang and smoke a bigger bore Bike in most cases. Most of the Huge bore bikes, Have too much HP and are hard to get them to Handle and hook up.

im not trying to be a jerk but have you ever posted more than one sentence in a reply. Im starting to see how some of you manage to get post counts boosted so quickly. you guys are probably right about not being satisfied with a one oh eight, but i just realized that there is going to be an additional 100 bucks on top of the price of the 117 kit so i think im just gonna go with what my budget allows ($250), get the 108 and force myself to be happy. Im not going to the vegas minimoto sx anytime soon, so I think the 108 should keep me happy for a year or two. My 88 race head has kept me happy since last winter. Im just hoping this 108 is gonna give me the same kinda boost as the 88 did from stock. maybe a port/polish will be in order during the install. thanks for the help again fellas

i think i may have to take you up on that offer. Why dont we plan a ride day sat. if its nice at yzf nicks place. im only about 1hr from lewisburg and your probably only like half an hour away. do you know him and have you ridden there before? Does he welcome people to ride or is it a private thing. If not I have an indoor arenacross style track at my teamates place you can come ride this winter with me here in state college if your interested.
