Hey guys I posted a suspension help thread but its not getting any replies. So I figured Id ask what my next upgrade should be. I was thinking oil cooler but some seem to think its not needed. I have the SSR90r and a big gun exhaust. Id like a little more power but I also want to do suspension soon too. Id like to keep the motor the way it is for the most part but id do cam/port and polish if its worth it. Any help is appreciated.

The motor is fine for now id rather wait till I blow it up to fully change it out. As the that suspension the shock looks ok but the swingarm is similar to mine and so are the forks id rather get bigger better front forks.

I dont want to spend too too much I was looking at the fast ace front forks and rear shock. I dont know how good they are though seem much better then stock. not sure what front forks I should be looking for as in size wise seems like the crf50 set up is to small but im not sure what my frame excepts. Also not sure if switching to a non a type swingarm is worth it, wouldn't I have to relocate my rear shock mount on the frame?

what does your bike look like now?

And yes if you switched from an A style to H style swingarm you would have to relocate your shock mount

you might just try upgrading the forks you have with some better/heavier weight oil

I have some 20wt oil coming in to see if that helps out enough. I think I will eventually want to upgrade to the fast ace front forks but I haven't really heard much about them anyone know if there any good?

stay away from AS03...not worth the effort to put them on...AS02 are okay once you get them dialed in....AS01 are more DNM Hornet/GPX Zoke copy like...but most of those are for mid size bikes....you probably will need something around the size of AS02's 25-26 inches....there are some forks called Pro50 that are I think 23-24 inches but no one can tell me if they have separate comp & rebd in each leg...if they do not, they too are also not worth your time...I run AS02 and it took me a bit longer to figure them out and get diled in...they are ok once that is done....

thanks for the input about the front forks. I might just save up and get some that are really good I dont want to ghet somehtig im going to regret in a week or two. Now on to the rear shock im thinking about getting either the works shock or fox float. Not sure if I like the idea of the air fox float sounds good but how long will it last which one is more durable?

the Works is probably more durable but I have had ZERO issues out of my 3 Fox Floats......stay away from the Chinese shocks...the QA on them is hit or miss....waste of money

Alright I'm going to go with the fox float shock now its the front forks im still way up in the air about those. I'm looking for best bang for your buck don't want to pay anything over 500 for them and would prefer inverted.

Get that oil changed out in your forks and try to live with it while keeping an eye out for some 50 zokes. You can come across them for $500 and under.

Always a good idea to buy from sellers with good reviews when spending that kind of money. You usually get the truth about what you are buying and they know how to ship right.

I just got a UNI filter and NGK plug for her. Now the bike isnt running right again haha. Im guessing the uni flows less than the old filter. So that should mean I need to go down a jet on the main correct? The air screw and idle screw do little to nothing now so Im gonna try to bring the main jet down 5. Also have the new bars +grips, graphics and fox float installed. Ill give updated pics.
