4in should fit JUST enough I hear without modding anything but on Brad_reynolds chally he said he had to shave the brake arm mount I believe its possible to do it without. You will also need offset front and rear sprockets. 7mm offset

Im running 3.5 by 10s front and 4.0 back on my chaly with a 120/70/10 rear tire and a 110/80/10 front tire.

Pretty tight up front with the fender arms (some bending was needed) and i ended up running offset sprockets which with out the chain would have very little clearance. Without the sprocket setup im pretty sure it would have rubbed from time to time on the tire and possibly the rim.

My thought is you can get away with a 110/80/10 front and back on 3.5 rims with no offset sprockets, someone should give it a try. Anything on a 4.0 wide rear and you would no doubt need offset sprockets.

Thankyou,

How much off set do you need Brad ?.

Im running the G-Craft offset rear sprockets which are 7mm offset. G-craft is the only company that i know of that makes an offset rear sprocket for the stock CT hub. Other options would be i guess to adapt aftermarket monkey hubs and wheels which i believe would give you other then G-Craft offset sprocket options.

Thanks for all the info guys! Much appreciated.

My friend has a set of 4inch wide rims for sale so I think Im going to grab that.

Brad you're running 3.5inch upfront, do you think its possible to run 4inch up there as well? Im not too concerned about having to modify the fender arms as long as nothing else interferes up there then Im happy. Did you have any rubbing issues with the rear shock there?

Beats having to order another 3.5inch wheel if I can get away with it!

We have a machine shop at work so I'll probably make a spacer or something to space out those sprockets!
