im installing a breather kit, this picture is correct right, i screw those 2 caps on(yellow) and the top one has a tube that i connect the breather tube to. right? i dont want to ef my engine all up, i want to be positive.

As soon as i start having seal issues with my head....i'll think about it. Until then... F that S. It was always just another thing to deal with when pulling the engine, or adjusting valves or whatever. And mine was quite cobbed and left the engine open to the environment. This idea gets a big thumbs down IMO.

ya man, i think they're a good idea, i'd keep it for whenever you build your motor, but you can make them for $5...

get a trail bikes bore kit for 250 without race head and keep that breather kit

I could wire a ball of duct tape into your motor and say its a new "high capacity spark concentrator" and half the people that put the mod on their bike would say they noticed a difference. Don't tell me you don't agree. If you are doing anything shy of adding a high flow exhaust to a motor...you aren't gonna notice jack, but if you spent money on something its gonna make more power...whether it makes more power or not.

and ive actually heard the stock exhaust is pretty good compared to alot of aftermarkets. is this wrong? i read it from some website that has never been wrong about anyhting else/

I was talking about switching to a high flow pipe from a stock pipe on a performance engine. A stock pipe is probably the best performing pipe for a stock engine. It doesn't sound very cool though. I would probably get a stock bore FMF even though everybody rags on them just for the sound.

i would not buy a pipe till you have a bigger motor....the sound isn't worth $200+ just buy the bore kit, run it with a stock pipe and then get a pipe..

my motor feels like it turns with less restriction, kinda a similar effect to lightening the flywheel..

actually, i used to run a Sik50's pipe on my stock motor and i could feel a great difference in power. My bottom end was really torquey up until half way through 2nd gear, then it ran the same speed. Makes it a little quicker.
