Just kidding, But this could be the best handling pitbike, It quite possibly could be the most adjustable LXR on the planet.

One more new pitbike innovation to come out of the Pitster Pro Factory Racing Development team.

It has a set of adustable trees, you can change the rake in mintues up to 8 degrees in and out.

sure you can raise or lower your forks to make small changes in the rake, but with these trees you can do it without changing the ride height.

Also with the adjustable pull rods you can change the rear ride height without changing the rears setup or sag.

plus the extra travel front forks and Elka rear. with the correct adjustments this could be the best handling pitbike ;)

this top picture has the rake all the way out to 30 degrees

this one has them all the way back at 22 degrees (sorry for the fuzzy pic I will try and get a better one.)

It also moves the front wheel at the axle forward or reaward 1 inch.

Cool, wondering what was the difference? I'm sure it changed the way it handles but please explain it for me, thanks

Would the trips on the LXR up there ^ work on a klx?
this setup has almost infinate setups, besides raising and lowering the forks and rear to change the ride, you can change the rake angle, pulling in the angle will give you quicker more accurate cornering on tight small tracks, putting them out will work great on high speed super rough big bike tracks.

These trees could very easily be added to a KLX with the correct bearing races,Just think of the possibilities!!

how will this bike handle on a tight track?? mini moto, or arena cross??
The best part about about it is ,, yes, with the adjustable rake and rear , I can bring in the rake, adjust the rear pull rods in and the handling will be quick, tight, and more accurate steering, push the rake out, drop the rear and the handling will slow ad the high speed stability will increase , so on big fast high speed tracks the bike will fly.

Went out to a nice sized pitbike track as well as a bigbike track, set the forks out 2 degrees from stock, and was lovin it!! added the 199+cc 4v engine and this thing was the best fun I have had on it since it was new. the engine was managable, fast, quick without being abrupt like the bigger engine, It also has a broad spread of power and revs like a much smaller engine!! Mattmoto set the suspension preload, and the clickers, and this thing was awesome!! simply the best handling pitbike I have ever ridden!!

I can hardly wait to take it out again.

Matt with all the adjustments you recently made how much wheelbase you running? Cause MT West is f-ing huge and I imagine as much as possible would be ideal. Does the adjust pull rods lengthen the wheel base at all?
right nowit is at 49.5 can go to 51 with the rear and front out.

the pull rods cannot actually make the wheelbase longer, but can raise and lower the bike without changing the preload or the suspension settings, so it can bring the swingarm lower and put the wheelbase at it longest point , this would push the front out .

Yeah mountain wets is pretty high speed on the big bike track, but I also like the affect it had on the slower small track, the front is not as "quick" to unput and seems more predictable,, definately want to get back at it and see what other adjustments I can make and what differences I will feel. I also want to try the Jordan river vet track.
