I have searched through multiple posts and cant really find an answer. I am looking for a couple of options for upgrading the rear suspension and front forks on my 95 Z50. I would like to hear some cheaper options I can go with...the better bang for your buck type things and then reasonably priced newer options??? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Check out the vendors or CHP for upgrades on both ends...

Depending on what you consider reasonably priced, you can get all you need for under 400- unless you are looking to really upgrade.

There should be plenty of threads that can assist you with this though..

BY THE WAY, WELCOME TO PM!

how cheap is cheap? you can always look for used parts. i am running stock xr70 shocks on the rear, one was given to me, paid $20 for the other one. in the front i am running +1 fork tubes, stiffer springs. i extended my swing arm 1.5" the bike sits level and is balanced. tb has some good deals on parts also if you want to go new.

well depends on if you want to keep your fat front tire. TBparts has swinger and shocks you can buy new. CHP also has swinger and shocks. fast50s has a swinger. Asianconcept designs i think it is has a swinger on ebay sometimes. lots of option for the rear that are not bad on price. the front will prolly be a custom job. most of the stuff you can buy premade cost a lot and is for street.

my z

old honda forks from xr/xl80 or 75 i dont know and te top clamp is from an 81 xr100. front wheel is KTM 50 with drum brake plate from the rear of a Xtreme pit pro107(modified).

I'd like to get a set of wider tripleclamps so i could get my z wheel fit between the forks.

rear shock are from twin shock xr80. my swingarm is homemade but the shock will fit on stock. If I go that route I have a set of 32 zokes laying around that need triples for the Z.

Sik Tendencies is selling a roller of a Z50 that has zokes custom fit on it and retains that wide Z rims.

Thanks to everyone for the help!! Washracer...I see your still running the Z wheels...was it hard to get the Z wheel to fit in the front?

nope matt at pitster hooked me up it pretty much fit right on. he made me a bracket so I can run the drum brake until I get the disk setup made and a bracket for the brake cable. I think they only have a few sets left Id jump on them if you can.
