So I really wanted to race the vintage class at vegas this year so I purchased a 88 honda Z50 off of here but I ran out of time to get it done.

With the help of Matified and Gary at pitster we started messing around with some parts at the shop to see how they would fit on the little bike. The front end went together pretty well. Just for fun we tried a LXR front plate on it.

We ordered the rear end from trail bikes and got it on.

This little bike is coming together pretty good, We still have some Matification to do to it and some Magikification for the colors, graphics, and seat cover but here we are for now.

Matt made the front drum brake work for now but we are working on getting a pitster disk brake on it, pitster foot pegs and mount, a pitster pipe to work and a few other goodies. I want to build the motor but for now Gary and Matt are making me keep it stock so it is fair racing them against there new stockers. I will keep updating it as we build more and will take better pictures, vegas should be fun in 2011.

Ya the reason I bought one was because all you looked like you were having so much fun on them in vegas, I am kind of over the fast build the biggest beast war. Our local races this past month were a blast, we raced true stockers (except i was called a cheater because of my new set up ha ha) and my stock mod 110. it was fun to not have to worry about anything but smashing the buddies in the corner. I look forward to racing my Z in vegas next year. I wish they would just do a 50 stocker class No engine mods and same with the 110.

here is my Z now!!!

i think it would be real neat if a company like pister put together packages for the older bikes like this. and ill agree i have more fun riding around with my friend on my stocker type bike than i did my ssr sb-a. i feel that i am actually devolping better skills on my stocker type bike than i am trying to go balls to the wall like i did on my ssr
