I've been wanting to do a rat for a while and since i loved my honda nice motor so much, I went ahead and got me another one. This one is all stock though and may see a 52mm top end and TB race head but won't get much more exciting than that I suppose.
The frame was stripped to bare metal, then brushed with battery acid. When that dried, I sprayed on hydrogen peroxide and let it dry a few times. In the middle of doing all this, it started to rain..so I just let it sit out in the rain. I wiped it all down with some paint thinner and gave it a flat clear coat.
THe front end has z50 legs in it and the rear is 280mm shocks. Dax style fenders painted to look like they were rusty when I put the flat black on them...but they were brand new...little technique I know.
It will have a stock style headlight bucket and speedo on there when I get one and a black seat of some sort...not yet sure. I have a few ideas on exhausts, but not final yet.
