WOW THIS GUY IS A JOKE!!! this kit is junk dont buy!!!!!!!!!!

NEW PICTURE AND ???'s check this out>? what is this black metal piece looks like a ground thats just wrapped around a wite on the trigger. and grounded to it.its not connected to anything, i saw a picture of the same kit the rod was bent STRAIGHT, not wrapped on the wire.

original post:::i got this klx 110 with an 08 motor with the kitaco 143cc big bore, stock head setup, its got an inner rotor kit on it, has any body every had issues with this before, not gettin the bike to run right...i have narrowed all of my issues down to either needed a new ignition coil providing higher/hotter spark, or the inner rotor kit, bad wiring or somthing...i have adjusted the trigger to advance/retard timing, no matter were i put it, the bike is the same. as well as jetting. it does the EXACT same thing, i think the igntion coil isnt providing enough spark...i am ordering some coil thats provides a higher/hotter count than stock. the coil on this seems to be stock from factory, and with all these extras on the bike i can see it possibly being an issue. just asking Opinions, or wanna hear other ppl that have had the same issue/// has any one heard of putting a coil ilke this on your klx ???

Re: IRK issues?

Ya .., what's it do'n ??

What brand inner rotor set up is it ?

I just put a Kitaco one on my stock bore 110 with a stock coil and it seems to run fine ..

My 50's run strong with the Kitaco inner rotors and stock coil too ..

Fyi -- If you have a stock 50 coil lay'n around ? .., you can try that on the 110 .

Re: IRK issues?

Are you using one of those POS BBR kill switches ??? Mine would cut out only when landing jumps cause the little circlip inside the kill button was grounding out the wires ..

Oh ya.., I forgot to ask ..,How good are your grounds and the rest of the bullet connectors ?? Clean and tight ? Wires secured to frame properly with no paint or rust to act as an insulator from a proper ground being had ?

Re: IRK issues?

for the most part, grouding is good, i thought about taking the wiring apart, redoing it all so i nkow its good. as for the kill switch, its not one of those ON/OFF ones. its just a push to kill. and IDK when i push the it for off, you gotta put it from the like kinda, if you push straight down it doesnt always shut the bike off. dont know if there could be anything there...the wires are not 100 percent secure, not many places to stash it....

new ? what exactly is that little black box thats part of the wiring, its not a CDI becasue there is no removable plug for it, just wires going into it. and you cant open it, its sealed, what exactly is that. i only see it on the IR kits. i am gettin somebody to send me a fly wheel, and puttin the stock ORK on. if it works i know its in the IRK. and ill go over what i can on the IRK to try and figure it out...i wish i could figure the brand of IRK. it might be a kitaco as well, like the bore kit. GRRRR this is driving me nutts

Re: IRK issues?

That box you have with the wires hang'n out of it .., is the cdi box ..

If it is a Kitaco brand inner rotor kit .., the aluminum plate that sits between the outer igntion cover and the engine case , will say Kitaco on it ..

Also .., if your inner rotor kit looks like a kitaco brand .., but has a red pick up coil around the stator instead of the black one ?? .. It's not a Kitaco brand .. From what I've seen on here ..., the non-Kitaco 50 inner rotor kits don't last as long as the Kitaco brand ones do ..

Re: IRK issues?

see if this helps if you havent all ready tried it.. its a very simple way to set it up. loosen all the bolts that hold the pickup and magnets just enough to get them to move. wrap a paper business card around the rotor so that it is mainly between the magnet and pickup push the magnet first against the business card making sure it is even around the rotor and tighten the bolts. then do the same with the pickup making sure it is centered on the slotted holes.this should set your clearances . are you sure the rotor is on straight? is it rubbing the magnet or pickup? are the long dowel pins that center the backing plate installed so its not moving? I have seen people use he stock ones and the backing plate does not center properly and the only other thing is the ground . make sure the motor is grounded to the frame and the irk ground is grounded to the frame. un plug the kill button and try it with out the kill button pluged in. hope this helps.. I have done a bunch of these and have no problems except make sure to use sealer on the outer gasket once you get it all figured out cause water will get in there from washing and rust that thing out.

Re: IRK issues?

your problem is probably from vibration.dont bolt your cdi to the frame, just zip tie it to something and let it hang.that piece of metal is used to secure the wiring of the coils on the rotor plate.its not used for a ground

i cut you a deal dude....$10 bucks and ill take it:D

hey honda_xrs85, sorry you fell victim to this dbag. props on having 54 positive feedbacks in your 2 years of being on here, that has to be a record. i hope paypal digs a little deeper and if they dont, that sucks

Thanks, I doubt Paypal will do anything about it. I've run into these issues before and they can't do anything about transactions outside of eBay that are related to items not as described. They only cover items not received.

Thanks a ton for offering support in bringing this guy down! I really means a lot when I know that the PM community is there to back each other up and kick the scammers out.

On a side note, this dude has been texting me, getting all pissed saying that I "got his family involved." Not once have I said anything bad about his family or their business, I was just bringing it in as more info in case the guy decides to create a new scammer's account. Just throwing this out there, if you're going to scam, expect people to do a google search on you. Google is my friend. LOL

aha let him be pissed, he deserves it. not saying anyone should harass his parents at all but i hope they do find out what he did. (pretty weak to not put his bank account on paypal and used his mom's btw)

he made it so clear that he knew it wasn't right and that he had no intentions of ever paying you back.

he made some really stupid remarks and made it even worse, normally i would have gave this some time and looked to see if the seller tried to make good but it was very clear (before any of this started) that he said "screw you, too bad and you won't get jack from me"

w\e dude... Im not a scammer. He was an unlucky buyer, i just overlooked some of the damage on the frame. Cant help it now... All my other parts were perfect, i sold about 20 items to all diff.
