cases are split right now for 4th gear and a case bore, did think about grinding the cases, will check it out, thanks.





the tak primary gear, does that change my gearing? thought it just replaced the primary clutch... no, stock clutch at the moment dude.



who makes a 17 or 18t sprocket for the klx?

got any pics of what has to be done firepower? would send you my cases but think your a little too far away...



theres 2 breather passages right? an inch or two above and below the sprocket, covered by the magneto cover...



how much would i have to grind, as theres a magneto cover screw nearby...

No cut pics, yet. Still working on having the sprockets made.


I thought only the Primary Drive Gear that comes with the Tak 6-disc changes the ratio by 14%. The PDG that works with the stock basket doesn't change gearing at all, it just gets rid of the centrifugal jahnke. Right?

im not 100% sure why it does but i run the big bike swinger and bbr told me it was b/c "On a frame and swingarm kit that are +4" longer than stock, it is mandatory to run the larger sprockets or you will wear out the chain slider and sprockets"... and if you can i would try and get a steel one... they should last forever! ive used sprocket specialist and vortex sprockets anf both have worn out fast..(and i put new chain and front sprocket ever time i do the rear)
