I am doing some research for my brother. He blew out his 2007 pitster pro x4 rear shock. He is in high school and doesn't have a lot of money so we are looking for a rebuild kit. Ti came with a performance shox. Where can we find parts? Does somebody sell a complete kit? About how much will a kit cost? What all parts do we need? Looked on pitster pro site and they didn't have any. We know a big bike mechanic that said he has never worked on a mini shock but if we can get the parts it is supposedly the same as rebuilding a big bike shock. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated. He is 5'8'' and 160lbs.

Thanks in advance.

I would go w/ the Medina RML kit for $299. It will convert it into a linkage bike. You get a new frame, shock, subframe, and swingarm.

Seems like the way to go, to me.

all that for only $300....wow what a way to upgrade a Pitster for cheap.....way to go Medina
