So I just got a pair of 3.5x 10 wheels and I am lost for appropriate sizes. Can we get some posted pics of different sizes and what fits up to what?

Is a 130/70-10 too big for 3.5 wide? 110/80-10 too skinny/tall? Maybe I want to fit the most into a 2.5" wide wheel. Are 3.5x10 tires for 3.5" rims and whats the apsect ratio on them??

I've searched quite a bit to no avail, so I broke down and posted. Maybe if we get enough references; sticky?

Thanks, Robbie

130/70 fits on 3.5"wide rim.

110/80 also fits, looks a bit different, more square.

110/80 fits on 2.5" rim as well. even have a picture of that combo on my Z clone

If a tiresize is given in inches as a single number it is normally height = 100% witdh

Goes for me too.

I need a 3.5 x 10 knobbie for my ct70 with low fender. the 4 x 10 rubs the fender bolts.

What size would a 3.5 x 10 be in metric?
3.5" =~ 89mm

Same size as 3,5" = 90/100 (height = 100% width)

Little wider and lower 110/80 (Still same wheel diameter as 3.5")

Picture front 110/80-10 and rear 120/70-10 both on 2.5"rims

Sorry to thread Jack But I have a question in the same area.....I think

Is there any issues with runnning a 4.50 x 10 or 2.50 x 10 wheel, or even a 12 inch? As far as fitment, or spacers needed ect?

Also I see some of you are running CT70 wheels. Is there any issues with that, as far as on a hard tail might be concered. Those are 4.00 x 10 correct?

Thanks

Same monkey as before now on 12" (and a longer swingarm, +16cm, frontfork 600mm, same as before)

front 110/70-12 on 12x2.75

rear 120/70-12 on 12x3.00

I love those wheels! I think that is what I want to do On my hardtail project! Now to source them.

Those rims are Falcon FMR. (should fit a hardtail with 100/65 or smaller tires, have seen pictures of fmr's on hardtails)

The cheaper option is to run the 10" copies of those rims. "Fatcaat" has a topic about the 10"version.

For the falcons:

If you are in america try honda50.com

Europe, daxdodo.com, lucdebondt.be, maseco.de.vu and others.

Or straight from japan (falcon has a webshop, only I can't read japanese :) )

I'd like the extra hight and two I'm not sure that the 10' would de as noticable.

Thanks

Z, there are also kenda tires which will fit the falcon rims, a lot cheaper than the fmr tires. Takegawa are selling another brand of low profile tyre.

The falcon fmr tires are not even road legal!

(By the way, the tires on my falcon rims are continental zippy 1)
