crf50 with 88kit question?

ok so i just put a tb 88kit on my 2008 crf50 and the first kick were a little scary! so i kicked it once and it did not fire, on the second kick the kicker went haveway down and didn't even turn the engine over. as if it was stripping inside or something. i kicked it again and it started. it have since did the same thing twice more the second time starting it. what could this be? its as if there is too much conpresion or something.

Sounds like the kicker gears are getting worn out.. How old is the bike..

bike is brand new! gears on the kick are mint still! still the stock clutch, could that be the problem?

clutch probably needs to be adjusted.

Just put the heavy clutch spring in and it will be fine

the clutch springs are pretty cheap and make a big difference.

+1.....need HD clutch springs. The 88 adds a lot more compression to the motor and you have to pay attention when kicking it over. Push the kicker down a little until you feel resistance, then kick it hard....

I was wondering the same thing, mine does the same thing but my clutch is starting to go so I'm guessing this problem could be because of the clutch.

if it makes a weird "whizzing" sound then the clutches are about smoked. You can replace then with HD plates and springs so you don't have to do them in the future.

I was just gonna order an hd clutch as well and be done with it completely. This I'm guessing will help are problem. I can only find it for $75 tho whered u find it for 60?
