Is there anything besides the tb 300 cam? Looking for good top end cam that will support a bbk down the road. Is the yx head the same as 140 Lifan head?

The Z40 has more duration than the 300, but wait until you get the BBK. Bleeding off cylinder pressure with extra overlap can slow your stocker down.
The heads are the same, basically. The YX has a recess in the head for allowing the piston above deck, but that's a factory machining operation. The Lifan 150 cam is a Z40 copy, and the YX one is pretty stout too. I'll have to measure one, but the aftermarket versions may not be an upgrade.
Put a piston in it. For about the same money, you WILL feel an improvement.
