Yes, its a great PARTY!

-Pitster gave contingency money for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place at last months race and bonus $$ to the winner of each nights main events.

-Wholesale Cycle (Pirannah dealer) is one of the sponsors of the event.

Thanks goes out to both companies for their support!!

Friday: sign-up at 6pm, practice at 7pm and race at 8pm.

Saturday: sign-up at 3pm, practice at 4pm and race at 7pm.

Classes: 10" stock (88cc max), 12" stock (143cc, no clutch, internals changes only on suspension) and the Open $ class (14in max front & 12"in max rear, unlimited cc's).

Stock classes get a practice and main event. Open class main event is usually 8 laps with 5 lap heat races.

This race has approx 3,000 spectators throughout the weekend of racing. It's always a packed house! Located on the Summit County fairgrounds in Tallmadge, OH.

C'mon out Jammingrant138. There will be plenty of Chinese bikes for you to race against. I know, I know, easy pickens!! lol. Chinese or Japanese, the racing is always tight.

In years past pro pitbikers Brad Ripple and Derek Rose have made the trip to collect some cash! Come test your skills in the Open class or have some fun in the stocker classes. Each class is $25.

Any questions?

im confused. when i talked to the guy in sign up last race he told me i could ride my pitster 140 in stock class. but according to those rules i cant b/c it has a clutch? a little verification would be nice please

Well, I am "the guy" at sign-up. No clutch allowed in the stock class. That rule has never changed and I opologize if you were lead to believe you could.

10" stock- 2 stock 10" wheels, oem fork tubes and shock, 88cc max, no clutch

12" stock- 12" front wheel max, 12" rear wheel max, oem fork tubes and shock, 143cc max, no clutch

Open $- 14" front wheel max, 12" rear wheel max, clutch allowed, unlimited cc's.

Starting times were posted in previous post.

ok the only reason i asked is because you told me and my brother you can run anything as ling as it isnt over a 143cc. but thats reasonable. so then my next question is are you gonna break it up into mod and mod pro . paying only mod pro i personally fell you might get more mods to come then knowing they may have chance since they dont have to race guys like sam who have sponsors yo build them a motor and that run las vegas. cause yea its fun to race but not when you have no chance at all

No. There is no "mod pro" class. There are 3 classes at Summit. A stock 50 podiumed one year in the Open class! Half the field is depleted after practice too. The pitbikes and/or their riders usually break before the racing starts in the Open class.

"Guys with sponsors" and "run Las Vegas" lol. Thats funny. If I do recall correctly Sam has never won the Open class at Summit. Brent Hahn has "no sponsors" and he has won Summit a couple different times. Sorry, there goes your "sponsor theory"

Its all about having fun guys! Summit is a great party with a pitbike race goin on!

well when piranna brings in "factory riders" its no fun anymore.... ill be there regardless it would just be alot "funner" if i actually had a chance at winning instead of hoping they wreck or break so i can have a chance

Sam (Pirahna "Factory Rider" lol) has NEVER won Summit. You sound like you are beaten before the gate drops! The gates all fall at the same time at Summit. "A stock 50 got 3rd one year in the Open class." If we knew who was going to win the race before hand we wouldn't bother running the races!

Get a stock 110 or stock 50 if you are worried about racing against "factory" riders in the Open class. Wait a minute.....I hope Sam doesn't ride his stock 12" bike!! ohh noo! Just come out and have some fun......no matter what place you come in.

Open $- 14" front wheel max, 12" rear wheel max, clutch allowed, unlimited cc's. there should be a limit on cc's like in the u.k it's cazy 160cc limit it would make it more fun

No limit on cc's. the bigger they are the more often they break! the fastest pitbike riders have reliable, yet quick, motors. There have been some real "fire breathers" that have come to Summit, only to leave with their tail between their legs.

The fairgrounds has 2-3 different entrances and only 1 is open for this event.
