hi guys hopefully someone can help with my problem. I have an 08 klx110 fairly new motor. anyway i started noticing a white color in my oil when i looked through the glass:confused: so i changed the oil and the filter, and after running it awhile it the color builds back. Then i noticed my oil filter cap was leaking very little so i thought maybe water had gotten in the engine and its just condensation. I wasnt, when i took it to the shop to get my cam and fourth gear installed everything was obviously cleaned, and i just finshed putting my bike together, poured oil in it cranked it up and after five minutes or so it turned that creamy white color. I bought a fresh filter and fresh oil. The oil im running is mobile1 10w 40, it has always been fine before.help?

not sure if this could be it but maybe your getting gas into your motor somehow?not sure how it could get in but only thing i can think of,but im not sure if itd make a creamy color though get some oil and pore gas into it and mix it up and see what it does. other wise what weight oil you running? i run 10w 40

It is something that the glass is doing. My 110 does that sometimes, it gets a white haze in it. But my oil looks fine when I drain it.

If you are getting gas in your oil it will smell like gas when you drain it.

coming from a mechanic, the only way oil does that is if water mixs with it. check the top of your engine where the oil over flow hose is did they remeber to put it back on. have you washed the bike since you got it back then there is an opening some where if not the water got in at the shop and they did a shi**y job. if you havent washed the bike i would flush it out one or two more times to get all the water out cause even if you drained it there will still be a little water up in there you just have to get it all out.

my 110 did it as soon as the weather gets cold like 30 or below, its normal dude i wouldnt really worry, mine does it and so does my buddys, its just the glass from cold weather, when it warms up itll be gone

It is called condensation , if a motor is run and then turned off in the cold you will have condensation form the hot oil fumes , it is fine , I bet you ,that it will never do it during the summer.
