ahh I see yeah I wouldnt touch the swinger as if you bend that section inwards it could pull the 2 mounting points inwards as well plus I wouldnt weaken the poor lil shwinger

I would cut and weld in a piece because it doesnt look as if you only need like a 1/16th of an inch you need a fair amount of space in there

Or a press might work as well but cutting and rewelding in a flat piece in there would be structuraly your best bet

ya i agree with the swingarm..

was thinking flatting it first if it dont work ill cut it..

seth quit lying to your self you dont have a plasma cutter or a tig welder... go pull out the sawzaw and some JB weld and have at it ;)

easy fix , large C clamp and rounded block of hard wood (hehe i said hard wood), light pressure till it dimples the frame .

better fix , cut out a patch in the area that hits , flip the cut out piece inside out weld in back in , grind it smooth , re paint , look factory .

i've done this on a harley frame so an evo fit in a shovel head frame.

nice build , is it for stock/mod class at mini moto sx ?????

stock moid build for fun, as the frame im not sure is legal for vegas i dont see why not its just a frame..

hey seth only read the first page but it was the same on my billetware... u either gotta weld and extend those 2 pivot joint things on the stock swinger.. or i believe a 70 swingarm will fit. dont hold me to that though

I'd just dent the swinger with a hammer, but do a good job with it cause you need to remember with suspension that swing arm is going to be moving up and down. So Make sure you dent it enough that it won't rub on the frame when compressed.
