Raced 2 rounds this weekend. Pit bike turnout was slim but the guys were good. I got 2 wins in the Pit Bike Expert Class on my LXR. Funnest part was getting mys ass kicked by a 6 year old. They combined all the pit classes in 1 moto and this 6 year old enters on his LEM 50 (maybe 65 but I think it was a 50). Holy hell... 5 lap race and he almost lapped all of us. The kid was screaming! We started doing his laptimes and he would have been running near the front in some of the big bike classes.

Yeah, i know what you mean, in november i raced in the areanacross(pitbike)and there was this 6 year old kid that was just flying(didn't get lapped, but another lap he would have).I'm 52, so i got an excuse!! LOL We just do it for fun, right????

you talking bout the race in farmington??? if so i didnt know there was a pit bike class??

Probaly low turnout because everyone was at the wintercross??

They are pretty much stupid around here,, running that series against one that has been around for a while, looks like every race date is on the same weekends?? We would love to race both, but if it comes down to one or the other,, sorry but the wintercross wins.

Ya there was 8 of us at winter x and matts 239 pulled the crap out of us on the straits but I got him in the corners ha ha, matt youll have to see the tape of you in the double doubles you were all over the place ha ha
Caleb it would be awesome to see some of this footage....We could all use a good chuckle around here. :p

and thanks to gary at pitster for letting me take a couple LXR's to race. They were sooo fun... when Utah decides to get with the picture with the pitbike scene I will be getting another one for sure...I almost had the pro rider that was racing with us, I went from dead last to 2nd and was all over him, I just kept screwing up on the starts:firedevil:

Ya, Farmington has 3 pitbike classes.

It's a good Series, from what I understand they have their dates for 2010/11 already set. Track is always good and the people who run it are top notch. Nice to have a race 20 minutes from my house especially in the winter when the roads can get bad.

Dont get me wrong I was not questioning their ability to run a good race, just their judgement on going on all the same dates as an established series??

that would be awesome if they worked together, it is about even drive for me either way, seeing as how wintercross gets hundreds of bike riders you would think they would want to get some of them ?

but how many pitbikes did they have in the three classes?
