Trying to decide which output shaft to get out of the 2, so which one is better and why? BBR is forged from a high strength proprietary alloy and comes with a new first gear and the CHP is 9310 High Nickel base Super Alloy and no first gear but other than that whats the difference?

agreed with tbolt usa, deff get the chp if it in your budget, wel worth the bucks!, rumor was that bbr is the oem 08 shaft with a forged 1st gear, again just a rumor...
hmmm kinda like that made in china sticker that on there pegmounts

i have an 08, with the stock output shaft obviously. and i have about 80 hours on my bike now with a 143 and some pretty serous abuse and when i pulled it apart for the 4 speed, output looks great. second gear on the other hand.... get a chp second gear while you are in there.

go with the OEM output shaft.......no reason to spend more than that on it.....

i had a 08/bbr output shaft and it broke on the clutch end. replaced it with the chp shaft, billet 2nd gear and billet shift star. life is good
