i have a few flywheels i wanna get lightened, i just wanted to know if they are worth it, i have a stocker motor, (2) 143 motor, a 160 motor, and i just wanted to know what is the great gain in lightening a flywheel, is it faster revs? more power? surely it weights less...lol, but im just tryin to get more info on this guys, and where i can get it done for a great price, thanks luby

ughh i didnt wanna hear the stall easyier part, lol, thanks guys, now for a place that would do 3-4 of them for me ? i know don @ pax does them , says hes been doing them for 20 years, another other place i can check before i ship them out to him, thanks guys

I have not done a minibike yet but I had a honda trx450r that I changed over to the dirtbike flywheel (like 1/2 the size) and it was the best thing I ever did for that thing. I was pulling holeshots like mad. I never really had an issue with stalling either. If you can get it done for cheap I wouldnt even hesitate about doing it, it really makes a difference.

I have read that on the 110 flywheel you can only get about 8oz off of it. You will be able to fell the difference but it won't be night and day. Are you running a manual clutch or auto clutch? If it's a manual then go for it. If it's an auto then get the IRK.

8oz or so wont make your bike stall any easier and you will notice quicker acceleration...Give Firepower or AHP a call. I'm sure either can help you and maybe even give you a quantity break if you're doing a few of them. ;)

Me and a buddy did mine on his lathe. Stock motor with a Tak hyper cam is the only engine mod. Its revs alot faster and I havent noticed any "stalling" or loss of low end. The bike actually takes off way faster then it did before. I would reccommend it...

If interested PM me and we can work out something.

Bigger motors benefit more and suffer more from flywheel cutting. They can take better advantage of the spin up, but because of the huge (comparitively) compressive area of the piston, they are more likely to stall at low revs as you decrease flywheel weight.

I've turned 2 down for my buddies, Zmmypit above is one of them... I like the way it added more pull on top end, his bike felt alot better from bottom to top overall also. If i had a spare for my ttr110, i would turn it down, but can't find the flywheels like the klxs for almost free.
