Sorry im bringing up an old thread.....(better than making a new one)

When you guys say 2 fingers between the chain slider and chain, are you guys measuring to the very beginning of the slider by the smaller sprocket.

Also with what T-Bolt said....is it 1" down and up measurement from the center of the swingarm (aka distance bt bolt on the swingarm bearing and axle bolt)

for the 1" slack or for the 2 fingers on the slider?

Both, you want your weight on the bike since if you set it when the bike is on the stand and then sit on it the chain will be tight then. The way i do it so im not tring to sit on the bike and check it is loosen your rear wheel and take a 10mm wrench and put it between the chain and sprocket and actually roll the wrench up in the chain and sprocket. This will also pull your wheel tight against your adjusters. I roll the wrench in there and set the chain with no slack then tighten the axle and roll the wheel forward to get the wrench out and mines set perfect everytime. Makes it alot faster then the two finger method.
