That's awesome I may be able to make it to the Maryland and Virginia races. Is it just one pitbike class or are there subdivisions like one for 50s and 110s?

Just one, go and check the website www.arenacross.com and then the Amateur side.

12 inch rear, 14 inch front, 49 inch lentgh, open craddle bike, no motor limitations.

And then they have a championship for region winners in Vegas in may.

I will not make Des Moines, but I will be at Council Bluffs forsure and KC and Tulsa. :D

Yeah that kinda sucks that we (pit bikers) are moved to Amateur day (Sunday) but I am not complaining another nationally sanctioned series picking up pit bikes is always a good thing. I always enjoyed the "exhibition" style race(s) that we always had here in Denver on Friday and Saturday nights in front of the crowds. I would have to throw major props to Trailpmim33 for pretty much pioneering this

A few videos for those thinking of entering.

is the comp fast?

Well just go and race one and see, where you from, I don't know how fast all the riders are, this is the first year they are adverizing it on their website and making it part of the Amateur championship. Just hope everyone support it good, so the AMA might decide to add pit bikes to the Amateur Nat scene.

1. Keep in mind that the championships in May are raced on the Supercross track on Sunday after the finals at Sam Boyd Stadium. (not the US Open at the MGM in Oct.)

2. Winners of this race are crowned as AMA champions with a number 1 plate and all. (Amateur Arenacross Championships)

3. They called us for some advice on this the other day. Right now they are only doing one generalized PITBIKE class. That's why the loose rules. If the turnouts are big and enough requests are made, they will add classes the following years.

Yip, I just spoke to Jayme at Feld, and he confirmed it, that is great Minimoto on Friday, Supercross on saturday and the Amateur championship on Sunday, So we can race minimoto the one day and again race on sunday if you qualify in your region in the Amateur Arenacross.
