Hello im new to the site! I have a orion x or x3 125cc with the 12-14" wheels. The question i have is i need to fix and or i would like to service the forks and rear shock but i cant find any info on the suspension! They are fast ace forks and shock. I dont know wich model the forks are but they are inverted forks with oil and nitro charge dampening. the rear shock says its a AP-33AR or BFAO1AR according to fastaces site. Does anyone have any info on these? if anything, all i need to know is the oil level and how much nitro. Any help would be greatly appreciated. i can post photos if needed!

I have several x3r's. The forks do not have the nitro charge in them. They are model AS-01 fast ace forks. Very simple to work on. Just loosen the top cap and dump the oil out. Work the fork a little to get the oil from the bottom of the fork out. Then replace with what ever oil you want to use. I used 200cc of 7wt (ATF) in my sons bike and it works fine. He only weighs 80lb though. The rear shock is like any other nitro charged remote resi shock. If you have serviced one before this should be no big deal. If not then any one who does service them should be able to. I believe they normally run 130psi of nitrogen in them. Same thing applies with the oil. Dump out the old and replace with new. I haven't serviced the rear shock on any of my bikes. I have however replaced 2 of them because the rebound damping stopped adjusting and they got stuck on full slow.

No need to replace them unless they fail. The forks are as good as you will get. They are Marzocci (sp?) replicas, and the rear shock is just like any other. The X3r's have pretty good stuff on them stock.

these forks have the air fitting on the bottom, led me to believe nitro. or is it just air. Im actually not even sure on what model the bike is either! lol! Are the measurements 48mm top clamp and 48mm bottom clamp? The forks are pretty bad. no oil left in em, I dont think they will even hold oil anymore so really what im lookin for is what forks can i replace them with?

also the forks are just air, but you could do nitrogen if you wanted too either would work. and you can get replacement seals for them and they would be good as new. minimob racing sells service kits for the forks and I think the shocks too. the forks should probably say what model they are, stamped on the side where the axle goes through on the bottom. If not you could figure it out by the top of the legs. as01 are compression and rebound adjustable on both legs, as02 is compression one leg, rebound the other leg, and the as03 are rebound one leg and the other leg just has a dummy dial on top that doesn't do anything

both legs have an adjuster but one of the caps is missings. just one adjuster on top. and air on bottom of both. So do the seals just go for the oil or air both? what level oil and what pressure could go in them. i like as stiff as could get them

ya i was looking at the 03s on killermotorsports site and the blue is comp and red rebound but blue doesnt have a marking but the red is marked "R". confusing. so all in all are the mounting specs the same between 02 and 03s?
