Picked up a crf50 this weekend with a takegawa 88 kit, bbr triple, some bmx bars, and rear wheel. it was only 500 dollars and a buddie of mine. But it needs a new rear shock because the reservoir broke off. not really too bad but i just ordered two brothers front springs and i can't decide which rear shock to get i was looking at the Fox air shock but one buddie of mine said he's heard a bunch of problems with them braking and u can't reaplce any one part if it brakes ur done... thats kinda like the ishock that it has now with a broken reservoir. the other buddie swears by the air shock... idk im new at this just looking for a little advice to get started. Btw im 5' 8" 140 lb. the bike will be doing a lot of trail riding and jumps but i've been thinking of taking it to the tracks also. thanks!

either the ishock with ressie or the fox float would be great the fox float would be best because of how adjustable it is and I have never heard of any one that had problems with theirs I have only heard good things about them but the ishock is also pretty nice

Fox all the way... all my buddies have the expensive i shocks and ill take my cheaper fox shock any day.... Plus ive never had a problem with fox, I have two on my pit bikes and 1 on my mountain bike and never have they failed me
